Priority Health does not provide or participate in medical treatment, make clinical decisions, maintain client medical records or arrange medical care and or referrals to specialists on a client's behalf. Our role is to provide information, help clients understand and explore available options and, where appropriate, facilitate introductions to independent healthcare concierge professionals, who will in turn make referrals to service providers and other specialized resources. Clients then work directly with those providers regarding their medical information, assessments, recommendations, arrangements and care.
When helping clients explore healthcare options, Priority Health will not provide information. Qualified Priority Health partner may provide information about more than one potential provider, clinic, hospital, diagnostic facility or treatment centre in Canada, the United States or elsewhere internationally. Unless otherwise specified, clients are responsible for selecting their providers and entering into any arrangements or agreements for treatment directly with the help of the medical concoierge and or the insurance provider.
Where services are provided through one of our healthcare resource partners, including Quick Health Access, our medical concierge partner, and WorldCare, our medical second-opinion resource, that partner may provide clinical recommendations, introductions or assistance in arranging care. These services are provided by the applicable partner, not by Priority Health, and are subject to that organization's own terms, conditions, eligibility requirements and professional responsibilities.
When we assist clients in identifying diagnostic services available through their provincial public healthcare system, we will endeavour to identify appropriate options as close to the client's home as reasonably possible. Availability, location, scheduling and choice of provider are determined by the applicable healthcare system and service providers and may be affected by medical priority, capacity and other factors beyond our control.
Priority Health cannot guarantee the availability, timing, outcome or results of any healthcare service, diagnostic procedure or treatment. Our role is to help clients understand and explore available options and, where appropriate, introduce them to healthcare professionals and service providers who may be able to assist them.
International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) and other insurance products are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policy and insurer. Coverage may require underwriting and may be subject to eligibility requirements, exclusions, limitations, pre-existing-condition provisions or rejection based on the insurer's underwriting criteria and the applicant's circumstances.
Our Partners and Provider Network
Priority Health continually reviews and develops its network of healthcare resources and service providers. The healthcare professionals, medical concierge services, insurers, hospitals, clinics, diagnostic facilities and other organizations with whom we work or to whom clients may be introduced may change from time to time. Priority Health and its partners may add, change or discontinue relationships with particular service providers without notice. References to specific providers or organizations on this website do not guarantee their continued availability or their suitability or availability for any particular client.
The availability of any healthcare provider, service, treatment, diagnostic procedure or location may also change based on capacity, eligibility, medical circumstances, geographic location and other factors outside Priority Health's control.
